Liz Skorski is the owner of Skorski Web Design Inc. and SWD Hosting.   Skorski Web Design was started in 2004 as a sole proprietorship and was incorporated in 2007.  A second company called SWD hosting was started in 2006 to allow us to effectively handle domain registration, website hosting and  email accounts  and renewals.

We specialize in custom websites for the small to medium sized business owner.    We generally service clients in and around Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Orangeville, Shelburne regions.  Our current client base ranges from  BC to Ottawa, and even Florida.  We can service clients  across in North America easily with phone and email.

We have always done custom html websites but now with the popularity of CMS for businesses we almost always recommend a customized template for WordPress.  This allows the client to take control of their website and marketing message. Implementing social media to websites  is imperative to excelling at search engine position. Our client base if made up of many different industries; entertainers, mutual fund companies, natural health professionals, chemical companies, not for profit, real estate agents…. We have developed a one page website for pet groomer and handy man to hundreds of pages for a college and chemical company.  The possibilities are endless and the options vary depending on what you the client requires.

Great book “Everything you know about CSS is wrong” by Rachel Andrew and Kevin Yank – although these tecniques work in Firefox and IE 8 they are not good for the older browsers.
